    I just made a new hookaroon myself. The axe head had a crack that i welded. Need to grind that and shape the tip a little more. Will post pic when finished. You did good on that stuff man.

    Nice job on those! :yes: That pick looks mean! Love that workbench too!! :thumbs:

    I never saw the point of the "jack" part though. It's easier and faster for me to make cuts most of the way thru, all the way down the log, then roll the whole thing with the cant hook/peavey to finish up. If you use the jack as intended, you need to roll the log up onto the stand several times to accomplish the same thing.

    Anyone ever try a chain instead of the hook on the timber jack? Have always wanted to try it but never seem to get one made.
