    Just wanna say how amazed and proud I am of the group we have here. Yes......I know you get tired of hearing it.....but I can't help myself. It's amazing, the community YOU PEOPLE have built this place into....

    2014 saw us grow exponentially.....unexpectedly FAST. With GREAT PEOPLE!! WOW.....

    I wanna wish you all a healthy, prosperous, safe, WOOD-FILLED, well-seasoned New Year! I have a feeling this cat ain't gonna make the ball-drop, I was out (you guessed it) cutting trees all damm day!!

    God Bless you all, let's make 2015 another awesome year at The Firewood Hoarder's Club!!

    Thanks man but all you guys that started this deserve a big thank you as well. I found this place while looking for answers on wood burning and have found sage advice from so many good people on so many topics. I think most of us on here consider each other friends and not just online associates. Thank you guys.

    I can't take much credit. I give the Lions share of that to Grizzly Adam, swags, DexterDay, Well Seasoned, MasterMech, Pallet Pete, raybonz, and jtakeman ....



    not to mention ALL of you guys and gals.... the generosity towards us here that you showed us at Christmas time was so humbling I can't even describe it.......that will go towards the site......you helped fuel the engine. And the help you all provide others and one another, we'll that's flat out PRICELESS.

    This place is like a pocketwatch. It's small, but made up of MANY intricate and all equally important pieces that keep it working in harmony. Let's wind this pocketwatch up for another great year and turn it into a grandfather clock!!

    I can honestly say that I have NEVER seen another forum community that shares the bonds that this one does. The members voluntarily donating to the site without any sort of prompting or link? A very generous Christmas gift to each of the staff members? These things are unheard of elsewhere on the 'net. People ask me what I do with my free time and I am damm proud to tell them about FHC.

    Cheers folks, 2015 is gonna be epic... :cheers:

    Thank you, and the others involved for providing all of us with a nice, friendly, alternative wood heating forum.

    But it's become much more than that. The topics and discussions have gone far beyond just firewood. While wood is still the main focus, all the other topics have given the membership a chance to get to know each other on a slightly more personal level. That makes for a well rounded online community. And whoever made the call to ban politics needs an extra special thank you. :yes: Politics will often shred a community such as this.

    So a very Happy New Year to everyone that makes FHC such a great place.

    I guess we're an exclusive and a bit reclusive bunch of hoarders that just take pleasure in accomplishments (firewood prep) and relaxation (the benefits of wood fires).
    It's been said that man never tires of looking at two things...water and fire. This site sure proves the later correct!
