My lovely wife let the stove go completely cold today while I was at work. When I asked her why she said hmm oh yeah it is a little chilly in here. She was in the office room all day on the computer with a little space heater blowing on her and hadnt paid any attention to the stove I guess thats not really to much of a bad thing though since I reloaded the stove at 430 this morning and she hadnt noticed the house cooling off until around 530 this evening. The problem is that as soon as I got home we had to leave for dinner and the house has gotten even cooler so now Im having to start a new fire and wait for the house to warm up again
Yep that stinks, but could have been worse. It take a few minute to warm up now, but you'll get to enjoy the fire...
Fortunatly its not that cold out just now getting down around 33 but its supposed to drip down to around 26 tonight and while thats nothing near what yall have its pretty darn cold for us especially since just a couple days ago it was 73* out.
Spoken like a true gentleman but if you are like me inside you're saying %$#&&* , but you know when to let it slide
Yeah no point in fussing it wasn't a big deal just a minor inconvenience that I was able to come here and gripe about.
I hear ya man I've been with my Honey for 40 years and I know I've done way more to pizz her off , it's just a matter of knowing how to work things out
Had that happen many times. I don't even bother wasking why anymore, I just give her a look and walk away... Working the stove is no more work than putting some dirty dishes in the dishwasher of walking to the mailbox and back. ok, done venting...good thread
My wife does really well with the stove. Mostly because she doesn't have a choice. I only fill the 250 gal propane tank once a year
