MS 361. No C, no M, no mods. Well, except trimming off the H limiter tab.

I dont think I could pick just one as my favorite, my favorite this week, was not my favorite last week, and next week,,, well I think I might have a "new" favorite, once the mail lady leaves my driveway :) :)

but I "think" I'd have to choose this one,, OK maybe the other one also?!?!

Me too, I'd need a scrolling ticker to keep track of my exact favorite at any given time. I think my affection for my 044 hybrid is likely to be stable for a while, but for smaller stuff a 50cc saw is nicer to carry around. Currently a nice old 026 occupies that role, but I have a 346 project that might displace it. I've never run a 261 or 550xp, ported or not, so I don't know what I'm missing.

Once that new saw gets there, I'm sure it will be a new favorite. :dex:

Light, fast, and super smooth. Perfect for saving energy for other harvesting demands.

Probably my 550xp if I have to limb the tree. Otherwise if just bucking up logs my 562.

Depends on what I'm doing, could be the Mac 125C,1-80 gear drive torque monster,2100CD,288XPW.

But for ''normal'' firewood cutting its either the Mac PM610 or the Poulan 3400.Over 30 yrs old,a ton of use/abuse with the 3400 & both saws start 2-3 pulls cold every time no matter the temperature & weather conditions.Always reliable & ready to work. The Mac is same vintage, but much newer condition with a fraction of the time on it.I'm 2nd owner, was a CL estate/storage unit cleanout find - practically NOS with no use in the past 30 yrs before I found it.....Best $40 I spent in a LONG time!!! ;):dex::yes: :saw::vulture:

I reach for the 362 every time...mostly because it is my only saw.
