    Elixers are good too but for spruce top I suggest Phosphor/Bronze version in what ever brand you get

    Just put a new set on one of the acoustics tonight. Been stretching them out for the last half hour.

    I get whatever strings are on sale. They always sound better than the ones I just took off.

    Ain't that the truth. The set I replaced last night had been on there since........last year at this time. :emb: Guitar sure sounds brighter now. :)

    I swtched out the bridge on my banjo. I would like to do it on this one too.

    got a set of gibson mediams on my flatop right now always ran them when i played a lot a little rough on the fingers now maybe i need to toughen up a little
