I can only fit 2 at a time but sure glad I'm not lifting them! 3 more this size have to come down and one considerably larger.
Is that a Kubota ora Kioti? I was just thinking the other day moving wood from my stuck trailer that I needed a larger bucket... I might have to fab on up this winter.
nice rig. Thought it looked like a B and a K on the headlights. Wish I had a B, but my cute little BX spends most of its time as the mower... so it works. The problem with these compact and sub compacts having small buckets is so people won't over load them with dirt and gravel. I thought about making a lightweight bucket about 60" wide instead of the shallow 48" bucket I have now jut for wood chores. Mine is older without an QA options so I need to make a quick attach setup first.
Thank you. I rented a BX to see how I liked it and ended up buying the b2620 with the backhoe. The extra ground clearance is really nice around here. I don't have a mower for it since most of our lot is wooded. I mow with a 32" scag clone.
yeah the ground clearance with the mower on is horrible on mine... and the turf tires are less than stellar in wet ground but for my 1.5 acres, it suits me well and not having 3 lawn mowers/tractors kind of scenario. Do you have forks for it? That is by far the most used thing I have for mine. If I had more property I would have a larger tractor.
I never knew how I got by without them until I had them... My front forks are still setup for my old tractor and I haven't had time to redo the mount or make a quick attach but so far the rear 3 point forks sorta get me by. biggest issue with my little toy is the lift capacity with real forged forks, as most weigh a ton...
Nice! Looks like wet red oak? I had some big ones like that not long ago that were crazy heavy, I used my bucket also to get the up to the splitter. Take some splitting pics too....
It is red oak. The tree was standing a few days ago. You are right that they are crazy heavy-just rolling them into the bucket is enough work.
I bought those chain on forks and they work pretty well. Slip on a pallet and you have a bigger bucket for wood or brush, etc. For the price, hard to beat. I am not a welder and can't get steel for free.
I've got a BX 2660 it's too small to be a real tractor and too big to be a just mower, so I call it my "U.L.A.V. or Urban Lawn Assault Vehicle"
3 more to come down? There are many on this forum who would love to have that problem; me included. That is nice when you get them that size. The wood piles up pretty fast and it is prime wood too.
sometimes you don't have a choice.. I buried the truck trying to get it to the back yard, so I had to unload the front half to get the weight off and thought what the heck... worked pretty well...
