My dad had an old Lincoln stick welder u can use it as a tig welder if u have the tig lead an 100 percent argon gas it work pretty cool.
I love my table but I am selling it to buy a portable table only so much space don't ya know… My huge projects are over….. I can always build another if needed but I doubt ill be doing that big a project for a long time. Guess that means Ill have another to show off soon!
The legs? Those are off a very old air table that sucked material down onto it. Work was throwing out the table so I picked it up and took it home. The top got junked years ago... I fixed a few broken beads on it and added some to a few weak spots. She works like a champ and can hold tons of weight.
Never thought about taking pics of my stuff, I got some junk… RP, I "had" the Bobcat 225 G-plus for years, really liked it. I just sold my Big-40 last year, That was a BIG A$$ machine. I've slowed down for my home stuff, last spring I acquired a Hobart 145 Champion gas welder/generator for the house. It's perfect for what I need home, I have a whole shop for work, Miller 330 A-BP, Syncrowave 350, Trailblazer, Lincoln dual feed mig, some other breaks, tables and junk, a greenlee pipe bender, bla, bla, bla….
The lathe I do have is from 1940 and weighs about 700lbs. It's just about ready to be a boat anchor, shes getting sloppy and parts are non existent for a Budd gear lathe. She was a hand me down from the Phila ship yard when they went out of business during the clinton era. There is a site though you can browse that sells used and gov machinery…. Can think of it off hand but if you google "used shop machinery" I think it comes up.
I have nothing at the house but can use the equip at work if I need too, as long as it is not to involved equip at work Syncrowave 351 Syncrowave 350LX Syncrowave 500 Miller ShopMaster Lincoln CV400 with a Cobramatic push/pull wire feeder on it, dedicated for aluminum hypertherm powermax 1000 plasma
... "the darn cat ran by ( seriously ) and freaked me out. He almost went up in a ball of flame......" ... ... sorry, sorry... I was jus workin the visual there...
I have the same cart on my Lincoln 180. Its pretty good, but I'd like to make a cart with some drawers in it, as this is moved around my shop quite a bit and won't fit all the clamps, tips, jigs, spool gun, etc. It does get tucked in nicely beside the welding table though. I've got the garage ripped apart right now so I don't really want to take pics. lol
Ya that made me jump about a foot.... Pfft you should see my man cave it's more like a mans disaster room.... I am slowly remodeling it this winter and it looks like it. On the bright side I just found 2 high capacity 4ah lithium batteries for my Ryobi drills for $89! Literally 4 times the run time each!
