Those little folding saws are a great tool for quickly dispatching branches that fall across a trail. I often take one when hiking. I used mine last weekend to get rid of some balsam saplings that bent over under heavy snow and then froze in across the trail to our camp.

After reading so much about your camp and seeing all the pics and log entries over the years, it makes me want to visit.
My wife did the artwork for me, shes a toll painter and made up the design and painted it. Kudos to my Mrs.

No pics, but hopefully tomorrow I can get a picture with my saddlebag for my 4 wheeler. I have to say my quad has got decked out for cutting wood this year. I got a chainsaw mount and now the saddlebag, I am ready to go into the woods prepared! I also got a Ohio State Buckeye flag for the Man Cave, I just about have finished. Thanks whoever got me these great gifts! My wife helped whoever it was out because she opened them and then wrapped them. Lol evidence got burned.......

Saw seems very high quality. Japanese style pull blade made in Japan. Haven't gotten to put it to use yet. As I said, it will get a ton of use from me and my wife doing a maintenance on our woods, "orchard" (~ 10 fruit trees) and gardens. Folders are super convenient too, vs. my rigid Silky Zubat 330.

Worked all day and had our Christmas this evening. You guys and gals made/sent some really thoughtful & amazing gifts.

This has to be the best "useful gifts" I've received(and wanted to buy for myself) Christmas in my life:thumbs:

I got a high output oiler for the 441:saw::thumbs:. I'm guessing it came from MasterMech Thank you very much. As that other thread started I began thinking about getting one.

The other gifts I got from my GF were a pair of Husqvarna chaps(she wants me to model them:rofl: ) and another thing I've been craving - a beverage holder for the quad:cheers:

Thanks to my SS, I got me a cool new bandana so dust, chips, and sweat all where they belong. Plus it looks badass! :p

    image.jpg image.jpg

But I'm not the only one wearing sweet new duds in the woods..... I tried convincing the wife these were for her but that didn't go as planned. :p :p I can't wait to get these out on the MS441!

    image.jpg

As for who my SS is? If the address on my envelope was correct then I owe JRSDWS a big thank you!

Oh. They looked like round foam things in the pic.

And my felling wedges are plastic too so that if the chain hits them it doesnt matter.

I made them out of round stock and didn't cut the wedge into a square shape. That's probably why it looks weird in the picture.

If you get the LLbean boot, remember, they will fix them for as long as you own them. It could be 5 years later, they don't care. They will stand by their products. I had a pair develop a leak after several years. I took them to the store, they replaced the boots. Their flagship store is only 30 min.s from me. Also remember they always have free shipping.
