Our youngest thought she got a saw-- my parents wrap everything in oddball boxes.

That's great - friend of mine got my son a similar one when he was about 5 - he loved it and would pretend to cut wood with Dad - enjoy these days with the kids - sure fly by! Cheers!

    Aint that the truth.

Cherish each and every moment of your kids growing up. It all ends so quickly. :tears:

It won't be long, that toy saw will turn into the real thing in short time.
After taking a good long long look at my kids today I wonder where the heck
    25 years went.

I'm the first one in my family to get into wood heat and the equipment that goes with it.. Hope I can pass it along like that. That's super cool!

We took the saw to two different family events and every kid there either cried or fought until they got to play with it.

My brother gave in and ordered my nephew one within the first 30 minutes.

My son gets to try it out on some real wood tomorrow. Should be great times.

This is a wonderful thread and those of you that have children should look up and thank God every day for the gift he's given you.

We've been seeking medical help, but so far we've been unable to have a baby. Didn't mean to derail your thread. Your prayers would surely be appreciated.

God bless and happy new year.
