I cut 20+ cords this year Once I got the last of it all split I took my sweet time to stack the last few cords but now I got some pics of my stacks Roughly 27+ cords 70% Birch 30% Spruce On the truck and trailer South side North side (before I was done) East side finished Hopefully this is a 3 year supply for my 2 stoves My plan is 4 years thou hope to have 4 year supply in like 2 years But of course I won't know how much I will roughly use in a season in till I get my new blaze king for the house And rebuild the riteway 37 for the shop
Thanks but I can't take the credit for building it all thou I love it It's ply wood and shingles From what I am told the guy build it over 25 years ago He did a great job that's for sure It's log and rough cut lumber
Nice looking wood sheds Snafu2 . Nothing wrong with a nice supply of splits and being well enough ahead. 20 cord is a lot! Do you stack green splits in the shed? Or just the seasoned stuff?
That's a lot of wood and a lot of hard work. I hope it works out that you have a longer supply than you think. That would save some work for you. It looks like you cut those stumps right down to the ground level. That's making full use of all the wood you can.
That's a nice hoard of wood you got there for sure. A lot of hard work but it's a great feeling when you have it all split and stacked.
Not sure only been at this house for 1.5 years Burned like 9-10 last year but only had a old stove when I get my blaze here soon it will help a lot I know that for sure because I have used them before It's put in there green and spacing in between every 2 row I get good wind blowing through the pole barn from east to west and west to east Those stumps aren't for burning they are for making into tables
Great looking , covered stack ! Some cool patterns on those stump/roots, future tables . Was looking for your pole light, not much daylight to work in. you have 2 hours less daylight than we've got here. Light snow year there, too ? (so far) You getting a catalytic BK ? Great stoves, long, steady, high heat output ! They love dry wood
I can't wait to get to working on the stump tables As for light yea I have plans for lots of led outdoor lights Yea not a lot of daylight and it's that midwinter grey cloudy kind of day light Yea low on snow this year kind of figures after the near record rainfall we had last summer Yep blaze king with cat getting the blaze king princess parlor the one with legs
