    The rest of my family prefers no beans, so no beans in this batch today. I'm firmly in the "chili has beans" camp, but this was good too image.jpg

    My wife makes a killer chili in the crockpot. Love it.

    Tonight she made a southwest meatloaf. Lately she's been thinking outside the box, and I love it.

    I'm gonna try a batch of firepit chili sometime this winter. Maybe when we're out cooking maple syrup in February I'll while up a batch of smoky chili on the pit!

    But ya GOTTA have beans, BigBarf......lol looks good at any rate!

    2lbs of ground beef
    Can of black bean drained
    Can of corn drained
    One egg
    Handful of cheddar jack cheese
    Mix throughly and form a loaf.
    Put Salsa on the top.
    Bake in a broiling pan so grease drips down - 45 minutes to an hour @375
