I hate painting too. Thats our rule I will fix whatever I just won't paint it!!

I also won't pay to have a painter so glad she does it or else I would be stuck doing it.

I hate buying paint and her wasting time painting to only have her say I dont like the color I am going to repaint it. Or a week or several years later say the same. I have gallons of paint that we never used cause she decided that she did not like the color before she started!! I bet I wasted hundreds of dollars on paint when we bought and remodeled our house. Well it will always be being remodeled there are projects everywhere including many partial finished ones.

I planned on finishing the shop this month Matt......hence the scheduled time off. The wife had other plans for my time though.

Happy wife, happy life they say.

Glad to see you are taking some time off, Randy. Did you originally build the house you are living in now?

I sure did. It took me nearly 7 years of weekends to get it done. Of course there were times when I was saving up money for the next stage. I've never gotten a loan in my life......

We lived in a mobile home while we were building.

Amen... Happy Wife is what it's about :) I get along fine. But without my wife? I would not be where I am today.

That shop will soon come. And when it does, it will be a welcomed addition to your business. Just keep doing what you're doing..

Thanks Dex. It was a basic cape when I got it. Big difference now. 4th extension and 4 kids later. Its taking a while, but thats what happens when you do all the work yourself. I only get extra help from the Wife, or the kids...... Guess the neighbors dont know what to think is going to happen next
