Ok everyone take it easy, I just finished putting the beast together, and she's a BEAST! To dark now to take pictures, But I promise you, tomorrow morning as soon as the sun shine across the massive main beam of this baby, I 'll take and post pictures.
Packed well, shipping to HD was great and she was easy to put together, although two people would have been easier. She up and running too, and I can't believe the splitting power this thing has, incredible and some really cool features too, more tomorrow with the pictures.

Heres the pics " Dirty Hand Tool's" 35 Ton splitter

Here's a nice feature, if the log get stuck on the cutter, which I can't see how cuz these baby is a monster and can most likely split rock.
But anyway, if it does, on the return cycle the two black blocks knock or push the log off the cutter.
This is a relatively quite but very smooth running machine, it's cycle time is rather quick too, not dangerously fast but pleasantly quick.
I will change the front kickstand to a wheel stand, as this is a very heavy machine to move. On grass you will struggle a bit to lift the hitch side up high enough to balance it on the axle to move it, but it is movable on rather level grass by one person, down hill not a good idea for obvious seasons, up hill just aint gonna happen. Level ground is just fine and pavement would be even easier with a little front wheel.
Like I said earlier, ordering easy, shipping and packing great, assembly easy, and even easier with two people, took me mostly by myself about 4 1/2 hrs to assemble.
I tried using it for about a half an hr and I am truly very very happy with my purchase and I know I will get my life time out of this baby. I do take care and maintain my equipment, as my last 16 ton splitter has lasted me 34 yrs without "any" problems and I have now passed that good "ol girl" onto my son.
The price of this splitter was two hundred dollars cheaper then anything HD sells and after seeing them and now my new one, the "Dirty Hand Tool" splitter is by far a much more superior splitter, if not one of the best splitters on the market.
I highly recommend anyone looking for a professional grade splitter, to buy "Dirty Hand Tool" splitters.
