    I came into the office today where I have my stove, and there was maybe 2,000 pounds of maple...perhaps a bit more waiting for me. My friend dropped logs off yesterday without my knowledge. Pics to follow later today.

    There's a couple large ones in addition. Fairly good sized pieces. I'll be sawing up today if the rain doesn't stop me.

    You got it. I did about 1.5 hours work and then was running low on fuel so did some splitting of cherry and white oak. Maple is easy to saw through. So much less dense than oak.

    It was fast and easy. I'm thinking you could run a longer bar through it without slowing the saw too much although the 441 was still getting dragged to a stop depending on how much pressure I put down on the chain.
