A pretty successful day overall, didn't think I'd get to limbing that hemlock tree until tomorrow, but the weather was right for working outside, and I already had the chainsaw out to nip the ends of the 2x4's so I figured I might as well play a little.
Looks like a lot of thawing going on there and some fog too. Little by little it all gets done, but that has to be work cutting in that mess now.
I make sure I have a good footing before I start putting the saw to work, don't want to slip while that chains running.
Yea You need a wood shed ! Looking good so far. Add a couple cross braces & a roof & you have it dried in PS: your weather sucked the day of the picture.
It was raining earlier in the day, but it hasn't since 10 AM or so, not bad considering the junky start to the day.
Hold on. Colder weather coming your way. We had 33 today but that temperature fell during the day but not by much. I notice when we came in from cutting wood it was 29.
Nice looking place you have! That project looks like it will pay off for you in the long run too. You can keep the ice!
I'll give it away for free. And it's a good place for the price, 450 a month for rent is pretty nice around here.
Does a supply of that beer come free with the free ice? Nice work Upstate! Slow and steady keeps it safe in the slippery stuff. I can't wait to get out in the woods when my vaca starts. Soon!
If ice came with beer for free I'd get it a lot more often. THe shovel came with me when I was running the chainsaw, that white stuff is evil.
