Holy frickin wind got to use the saw tonight.

And there goes the antenna sheesh

 

This is a pretty hard storm. Winds are still around 30 MPH sustained. But it's died down a bit.

Last year Hurricane Sandy put a much harder hit on us. Took our Trampoline and sent it flying into the house. Destroyed it completely. Also took a wall down on my enclosed porch.

The worst is behind us... Or so they say. The biggest/worst part passed long ago.

Thanks Dex you stay safe too. I am to scarred to load the stove too it's rattling like a freight train right now....

 

And there goes the power too. Wow this is getting interesting. I just saw my metal ash bin lift off and fly away I'll probably never see that one again. Currently running off the phone.

 

Not sure Dave I think he was stopping in PA for family.

 

Yes we use it for big storms frequently. Its still raging outside too.

 

The wind has picked up here. Saws are already in one truck. Maybe I'll move one over to the little truck.

Yup we have been in the basement for a while but after today she just has to sleep. I sat up waiting for the siren pretty much all night.

 

We made it through the night but boy what a mess outside ! It looks terrible trees and garbage everywhere.

 

My antenna is in 10000000 pieces the garage windows are smashed in back ! One of the trees out front is all but destroyed and I have no idea where the ash bin went. Here is the funny part the fence in the back yard kept the back yard looking pretty much the same. Like a storm wall.
