I tend to browse craigslist quite often in the farm & garden section. I came across this the other day and thought I would share. This thing is pretty sweet, too bad it's so much $$$.

Bombardier SW48 Snow Plow. Has a Ford 300-6 in it, I love those engines. My '78 F-150 beater has one. It even has rear hydraulic remotes. You could drag logs around, pull a heavy trailer, and have a 7' blade to push brush. I doubt it'd get stuck in the deep snow!

    Go anywhere
Those track rigs seem to be high maintenance though.

$8800. The CL listing address is under the pic. There's a few more pictures there, too.

Yeah, I can imagine there's some maintenance involved to keep er going.

It would be nice in the winter when ground was frozen up. Other time you would be tearing things up with the tracks. But out in the woods that prolly wouldn't matter in most unfinished places.

They tend to beat you up inside the cab on dry rough ground, no/very littel suspension.
snow gives you a good cushion.

It seems this sight has many more michigan members than the others. Perhaps too many hillbillies over there...

Not exactly a big town either. There was another Fowlerville member before, but I can't remember if it was here or on hearth. I remember he made awesome knives and lived on bull run and might have been named Bob.

I'd love to check out your saw collection sometime. Especially those masterminds.

Anything with tracks is expensive and time consuming to maintain.

That is a cool machine. It would probably need ported to reach max potential.

Yup, I know Bob pretty well. I met him on AS. He actually bought an 036 from me. I've seen his knife work on AS, stuff is just amazing! I hear from him occasionally, he brings the saw over for a carb check/adjustment.

We'll have to get together soon. The Hybrid is a monster!

I am so glad that thing is not nearby. My wife would kill me if she came home to see that in her parking bay.

I'd love to have a cabin where I needed a Sno-cat type of machine to get to it.
