good thoughts please

My wife is in the OR. She has a bowel obstruction. Emergency surgery. 50% chance of complications.

 

Sending good vibes. Have the best outlook possible, there's the same chance everything goes problem free as there is chance for complication.

Could be ,it is not as bad as you think .

Cindy had the surgery. No dead bowel this time. The bowel was twisted up in a hernia. They repaired the hernia.
Now the hard part of recovering and avoiding infection and bleeding. She is diabetic.
Sucks to have this before Christmas. She'll be in the hospital until things start working.
Again, thanks for the prayers and well wishes. It means a lot to me.

Glad the surgery went well. Tell her she is in all our thoughts and to get well as soon as possible but don't try to rush it.

 

My father had surgery a few years ago, the nurse said he couldn't leave until he had a bowel movement. I told her to show him the bill, he'll sheit when sees that!

 

Prayers sent Larry for both you and for Cindy to have a full and speedy recovery. Hang tough Brother, a Christmas miracle WILL come.

Sorry to hear about your wife. Sounds like the surgery went well and now its time for recovery. It is never a good time for these things to happen but this time of year makes it worse. Hang in there and my prayers go out to your wife and family.
