I have no saws now...

I was down to just my MS-361. That's gone now too... on its way to T.Landrum's for some port work! I can not wait to get back to Michigan next spring, miss my wood stove and cutting firewood!!! Florida sucks.

 

Want to buy a couple in the interim?

 

Would but I'm working and saving to buy a new truck. ALL TOYS ARE ON HOLD. For the time being. I just have to keep telling myself that. My Need Want list is long. Next toy I buy is going to be a wood splitter

Florida is nice but, what I don't like about Florida is the high humidity all the bugs and big azz mosquitos

Yeah the humidity makes the 60* temps feel like 30.

What I hate most is missing my family and my dogs. I don't have kids and the dogs are my buddies that follow me everywhere... They could not come with me here. Stayed back home with my 'Pop, who I miss terribly.

This pays the bills though so I don't have much choice. I just keep praying that this is what God wants me to do, I'll do it, if not I hope he shows me a path that leads back home!

 

Go get yourself a small saw cut some bamboo and make some money

 

I've never ran a ported saw does it make a noticeable difference in power in the cut? I tend to dog it in and big that 60cc engine right down. I try to ride the edge of bogging it out. Got a lot of wood to cut and little time to do it with.

If this doesn't help, I'm buying a 441.

Hey Joe. That work will go by quickly and you will be back before you know it. Time flies. The heat down there is more than I like for about 7 months of the year. LOL Not bad in the winter time down there though. I spent a couple of years working in the south while I was young. I enjoyed it, but getting back up north was good as well. You will be cutting wood again soon.

Thanks guys, ever since my mom passed a decade ago, after my bro and sis moved away and started families, it's just been me and 'Pop. Difficult to leave him after being together for 10+ years.

I keep thinking of the movie Only the Lonely with John Candy! Not as bad but I do worry. LOL
