    Need help what kind of woods in my trailer I have no idea.

    Silver maple an regular maple have different bark maybe good to know thanks

    If you see any soft maple that has what looks like a paint splatter on the end like this.

    Spalted Maple. Do I see a guitar outline there, solidwoods?
    I would say the trailer is Maple, but the bark is a little off.

    That trailer load looks like some sort of a maple but not like we have here. The heart wood throws me off a bit.

    The trailer wood definitely looks like soft maple to me. Not sure what kind, I've split red maple that was black in the center like that.

    I've seen maple with heartwood like that. Not sure if they all get it, or some is just more distinct. This one had a lot - I have about 6' of this log left. I wish I hadn't cut the last few rounds off of it - I want to turn the rest into lumber.
