Very interesting. Maybe this is stupid, but how does one get a saw to run under water? Or is that just a poser shot?
Likely, but there really is people that do crazy chit like that. I've been in the water for ice rescue training. I was in a flotation suit, and was mostly dry, but it was still darn cold. Ice divers are nuts.
the saw is a poser not me. I ice dive, dive with the sharks and gators etc. waiting for it to freeze here so we can blow bubbles under the ice. what is really cool is the fact the bubbles never pop till spring when the ice melts.
I have a buddy who is a diver and routinely hired to clear the shipping channel in the James River downstream from Richmond. He uses a pneumatic saw to clear with. Over the years he has accumulated a nice collection of cannonballs from the Civil War off the bottom of the river.
a few fish from last dive in St Croix Sept 14 date on pics is wrong. 81 degree water temp bait ball, stingray, Caribbean lobster has no claws
I have wanted to try the SCUBA thing. I mastered the SCBA part, and adding the 'U' sorta seemed like the thing to do. We had Survivair by US Divers for many years, after all. Unfortunately, I don't swim well. Being able to breathe, in an environment where you shouldn't be able to breathe, is part of the rush. Burning buildings vs underwater, meh. I'd still try it. Diving under ice, however, is still nuts. You have my utmost respect.
