    Have it happen every so often. I rarely check the weather. Had it up to 75 in the house today. Usually try to keep it around 68 to 70 at night. Still getting used to more better wood.

    I use to have some nights during the shoulder seasons when I would get the house to hot. But not many. Big house and stove was heating from basement. And I couldn't get it too hot when the real cold set in. The stove could only heat about 60-70% of the house when it got cold. Since I have my boiler all levels are at whatever temperature I want them. I like the upstairs cooler for sleeping. If I could I would got with 60-65. But with the wife and kids I keep it at 67. Any colder and the complaints start.

    This thread has waaaaaayy too much information in it. I thought smoke show was involved. Glad I learned how to be couth at ALL times. :D
