This happened yesterday about a hour south of me. Very sad for everyone that lost there lives. It really hit me to see those innocent children who were just getting started in life, get taken away so quick and close to Christmas. So very sad for sure. According to news reports I heard, the pilot, who was also killed, had crashed a plane @ the same airport 4 years ago. Initial reports said other pilots in the area @ the time had observed numerous birds flying. A sad situation for all involved.
That is what I heard as well. I am wondering if that came down to a simple bird strike that caused this terrible tragedy!
Hoping the father can help the older child... who also survived and has to cope with losing Mom and siblings... while also dealing with his own terrible loss. God bless them all.
