It's always good! The yogurt and spice blend come together and thighs are the the easiest part of the chicken to cook so its kind of hard to mess up.
Basted them with apple cider and some of the rub mix. The cider brought out a real nice sweetness to contrast the smoke and spice. They are wrapped in foil resting in a cooler now.
Broke in the new smoker/grill Friday after work. Delicious smoke grilled chicken. Saturday morning I made cinnamon bun waffles with sausage. On Sunday I needed something simple to cook so I borrowed a recipe DaveGunter posted in another thread. Pounded boneless chicken breasts – Dijon mustard – cheddar cheese – and ham. Rolled up, breaded and baked. These things were really tasty.
Razo The next time you do all that I will bring the beer! What? You can drink beer with waffles and sausage too. Don't ya know.
Thanks for the compliments guys. I think I'm going to do another chicken Wed night and try out a recipe for Alabama White Sauce I found. Founder's Breakfast Stout
