Started some crock pot chicken pot pie this morning, and just got finished enjoying it. Now I'm ready to watch my yellow jackets whoop up on the Seminoles :D

Recipe is just 3-4 chicken breasts, a bouillon cube, 12oz frozen peas and carrots, salt, pepper, and 2 cans of cream of chicken soup. Dump it in a crock pot on low for 6-8 hours and then spoon over biscuits

Best time of the year for the crock pot. Comfort food is the best in winter.

No problem. I'll be using it more too, it's just too easy to throw some stuff in and forget it all day. Only thing you're on the hook for is the biscuits

I like homemade... but the frozen ones from grands are great... pop out what you need and toss them in the toaster oven... If I make a "can" of them... I eat them all lol

Right where I want to be.
I do those premade pie crusts with a bag of mixed veggies, canned chicken and CC soup.
Only take a few minutes to mix up, and man are they gooder.
Doesn't last long around here, so I always make two. Still doesn't last long.
    Yours sounds a little easier.

Our Dad always told us Chicken Pot Pie had mice in it! When us kids got older we realized he just said it so it would leave more for him!:)
Still to this day though anytime my wife makes it I always look for mice tails!

Oh, that is excellent, nice and thick. I made a turkey stew with Amish egg noodles yesterday and had leftovers today. I have a few gallons of turkey stock and meat bits frozen from Thanksgiving day carcasses. It was thicker today.
