    Went and grabbed some pellets to test today and saw these, I had to grab a bag. Supposedly produced in a plant that was owned or run by Pennington. They actually took a sharpie to all the bags.

    Wow, Never heard of them. I'm gonna google that addy to see if there is an actual mill there. Didn't think we had one in CT. Mohegan is an indian tribe in the northeast corner of CT. Mohegan sun should ring a bell, Its the casino in Uncasville.

    Must have originally been labeled Super Premiums and the ash content probably said less that 0.5%.

    Hmmm....website says plants are in Ohio and Indiana....guess the office is in CT. He might have mentioned something about Ohio....we bs's about a lot of things. Is there an old Pennington plant in either of one of those places?

    I wonder if they're interested in the GAP mill? I hope these pellets are better than those crappy Pennington's.

    I also hope they take baby steps and get a good product together before they start expanding and maybe putting out an meh product.

    I think thats what got pennington. No consistency as every mill uses different fiber. Some decent, some total crap. You were afraid to buy them.

    Hopefully they got a handle on this and did some homework or they end up just like penningtons.

    My Walmart has some penningtons. I wonder if they are the same as these or old chit thats been layin around?

    Some of this is adding up. After the Inferno mill caught fire, They sold there stuff and it was rumored to be moved to Tennessee. Guess who owns the Tennessee mill. Interesting!

    Actually the equipment wasn't the issue. Seems they though any fiber would do to make pellets. Even demo stuff with paint on it would be fine.

    I wasn't either at first. but once I got into it and saw how fast they are growing. Figured we batter JIC. ;)

    I sent of an email to see if there are any available in my area. I wanna try em too! ;)

    You guys are good!! Looks like they will have 350k ton capacity very soon, although it sounds like most of it is intended for oversees.

    It would be great to have respectable pellet calling connecticut home. (Yeah yeah soverign indian nation whatever....)

    It would make us feel better about "no sets for you CT."

    I find the rainbow of pellet colors concerning , usually not a good sign.
