Does anyone have any experience with these Energy King wood/coal furnaces? I bought one for a heck of a deal and will be installing it this coming spring once my addition is completed. It is this one - http://www.energyking.com/480ek.php. Looks brand new!! Came with the shaker grates, all sorts of duct work, blower motors, back draft preventer, and 11 3' sections of stainless class A 8" flue pipe. $1,500.
crzybowhntr, I had a Energy king wood furnace in my shop for over 20 years. I have since sold the property and left the furnace. It worked flawless for 20 years. I have known the owner of Energy king for over 30 years. If you ever have a problem with anything on the stove contact Energy king and they are excellent at customer service. I heated over 1350 sq. ft of shop space and 500 sq. ft. of office space. It never missed a beat. As far as I know the new owners of my old property are still using the stove. You got a good buy and a good unit. It is not a high tech unit but it is solid and it last forever.
