Not a real close friend but a friend and a nice guy. My wife just heard he has been out of order for a while. Been doctorin and ended up with a 4x bypass bout a month ago. Had not been able to put up wood. Got off work early today and went and found some standing dead. Filled the box of my pickup and bypassed my place. Just left a note stapled to a round "from a friend".
God bless you brother. I did that a few times when my friends wife was have open heart....they figured out who it was and called me the wood fairy for a while. Just nothing better than helping someone in need.
That is great for you helping out. Hope your friend recovers nicely. We also have a friend who we gave wood to last winter because he hurt his back. Then this summer he had heart surgery. Guess we know what happens this winter.
I appreciate all the compliments, however they weren't the goal of the post. I just hope to inspire random happnins of nice. I am not made of money and have been down and out myself and was unable to repay people in the past. They were understanding enough to say when you can just help someone else out. This is just my way of making a payment on the nice that happened to me when I needed it. THANKS TO THE NICE PEOPLE OF THE WORLD WHO HELPED ME!
