Looks great, let us know the long term durability of those parts. I have a 361 that was dropped off a truck at 55mph and someone ran over the crank case. crank, p/c, tank and top covers are all good. I need a case, thought about parting it out. saw had less than 10 hours on it.

I put some grease on the piston to hold the lead in place. I like checking 4 corners at a time.

I' check three or four. when I do 3 I bend it in a triange the diameter of the piston, or four corners. amazing before you cut them how unsquare some are.

This saw was 5 to 7 thousands off stock, I took alittle over 20 thousands off the base, I've had this bite me before in the past. The stuff grows and moves at operating temperature..........

Make you a brace for that muffler or get one from a 346 so that thing won't work loose and melt the oil tank.

that is very correct. I paid good money for a decked/cut/domed/ported 375K topend long before the 372xpw was out. on 93 it would detonate. I ran it with 50/50 of 93 and C110. tore it down and it was .009 cold... pits all over the piston and had I ran it for a long time it would have melted down for sure.

when I do the triangle, its a rounded triangle so it doesn't catch the edge on any ports. uses a lot of solder though.

I've read that, but of the three of four I've had here, none of the mufflers were loose. I might redo this muffler, I just made some slots to let it breath better. I'll see what I can find one for. Thanks.
