And it only cost me $30! :D

    Progess!!!!!!!

The 357 is ready for seals and bearing. Everything cleaned up good. I will take back to the shop and make up list of everything else it needs after my mentor (owner of the shop) takes a look.

Thanks! It came from Jon1212... It's one of the saws he got in exchange for "doughnuts."

The bar was a bonus he threw in. :dex:

You guys are going to like this one! I'm knee deep into installing a "Wood Hoist" off my back deck, which is 3 stories up! Some of you may recall I had to hoist my stove up 3 stories via scaffolding... to where it lives today. Well, part of the plan has been to build a wood hoist to get the wood up there instead of carrying it up. Well, it will be done any day now...

Made up a mounting box for the hoist motor and mounted the hoist motor in it, bought a hoist bracket, cut and painted some mounting kindorf, cut a "hawse pipe" into my porch overhand and epoxy sealed it. Ran a 120v power outlet to the ceiling where the motor will be mounted. Had a 3' round basket made up of aluminum 1.5" tubing. Just got to et the hoist bracket up, aboe the 3rd story, and I'm done. Who wants to climb to the top of a a 40' ladder and screw in 4" galvanized lag bolts???

Got my saw back from the welder! It looks better in person... Just need to get new handle hose and install it.
I'm happy with how it came out! :D
