Cutting up the last of my log piles I cut them back in 2011 and they have been top covered ever since.
Just haven't had the time to get to them.
Hauled up 2 trailer loads, and just started cutting.
Its so dry its ready to go in the stove.
About two more trailer loads down there.

Nice looking heap of wood you got out of the poles and I like that shed, nice rustic look to it.

Very nice load there nice and dry. You need to add a extension with all the wood you got..are you gonna bring it in the house to burn now or do you have space to store it

I'm wondering if that shed was once a sugar shack? Regardless, it looks like it does the job very nicely and it is full too. Great setup.

Thanks, the wood is a mixed bag from tree tops left by a tree company down the road from me, but mostly oak, Had to hit the chain after each trailer load the oak was hard as iron. got just enough room in the far stack.

Thanks, I built it from scratch, its mostly old barn board. It is in the front so the wife wanted it to look nice. I can plow right in front of it with the quad, making it easy to bring in a cart load in winter.

The last load of my uncut wood. I won't no what to do with nothing to process this winter.
My neighbor is talking about dropping a few trees though.
I left the last in rounds so I can break out the maul on a nice crisp winter day.
Had just enough room to get it all under cover.
There's a little over three years here, each side is 8x8x 6 1/2, the splits in the shed are 4 year split and stacked.
Mostly oak, a little soft wood and maple here and there, I seem to be surrounded by white and red oak's.
