I checked yesterday and retail pricing on a 250 cc Kawasaki or Honda 3 wheeler was around $2,200. Can you imagine? I'd buy new every 3 wheeler I could get my hands on at that price. Who would have known they would go out of production

Look at the size and that big head.

Thats actually a smaller one. I have killed a big female that was like the size of a husky a year or two ago.

I killed a double and let the third go cause I thought I only had one bullet left...and I wanted to save one since I was actually deer hunting at the time

Well, here you go and this will make you sick. Granted, inflation and wages have risen but it's still not in line.

Brand new 1984 Honda 200X out the door for $1625.00. LOTS of hard work and saving for that one as I was a senior in high school. I'd hate to think how many bales of hay that was. I ASKED my Dad if I could by one (imagine that with a kid now) and he said yes but he had one stipulation. He grabbed a can and told me to give him the cash and he'd put it in there and when I had enough he'd go with me. I did a bunch of shopping and found a dealer in Indiana who was selling them cheaper. When I got enough he told me, "Okay, I want you to think about how long and how much it took you to save this much when you go riding." Still have it to this day. One lesson other young people SHOULD learn.

When the 350x came out I wanted one bad. Started saving and put the turbo save on when I heard from the dealers that 86 would probably be it.

$1915.00 out the door and I got it with farm use. When I told the sales rep that he looked up at me and said "Really?" I said,"We have fast cows." :D
    He busted out laughing.

In '84, I was only 7. I do remember the 3 wheelers well though.

    $1625 in 1984 is was a little under $3600 in today's dollars.

(Don't forget to add 25% more for that fourth wheel)

I would think a 3 wheeler with a ski on the front and a couple Tatou tracks on the rears... would be a very cool ride. MUCH easier to steer than 4x4s and lighter, so it prolly would do well floating on top of the snow. Anybody ever do this? I know there's a ski bike out there now, but a 3 wheeler set-up ought to have more traction.

I have one ski left from a set of 3 (use the other 2 with my log tuggin) that would work perfectly with that.

They were made for an ultralight. The rear set, I use bolted onto a 4x4 wood cross piece, under logs I drag out on snow. The ski that is left was actually the front ski. Have no use for it. Made with chromoly aircraft tubing and double layer 3/16" Lexan surfaces. Very rugged.
Here are the 2 rear skis...
