    (AWF) American Wood Fibers results: FINAL RESULTS

    Temp Average - 300-370 (on door thermometer)

    Ash Volume - 19 ounces

    Ash Weight – 1.90 ounces

    Ash Percentage - .29%

    Fines In Bag – less than 1/4 of a cup

    Pellet Length Avg. – .5" –1.25”

    Bag Weight – 40.4 lbs. (zero oz. left in hopper)

    Some 2” long pellets
    Had some auger crunching




    These are the same AWF pellets that some box stores get in the white bags with orange and blue lettering (pic below). The pellets are on the longer side and I did find a few that were in the 2” range but it wasn’t too bad. These pellets burn hot with a nice light flame with a fluffy, light grey ash. Volume wise it looks like a lot but it didn't weigh much.

    All in all I would consider these an above average pellet for around here but be careful of these if your stove doesn’t like pellets that are on the longer side.
