Quick question, can I vacuum oil burner clean out as well?

Got my vac today and I gotta say, I don't know why it took me so long to buy one of these!!! It works great and is pretty quiet compared to the Stinger vac I've been using all these years. A+ !!!

Never saw the need, but lots of people have had good luck with that brand over the more expensive ones.

My shop vac has treated me very well over the past year, but I only use it when I know the stove is dead cold and has been for quite some time.

Got my ash vac and have used it twice. Good power and seems to be well built for the money. Great buy at $59 and free shipping.

I missed it! But they are $69 plus $10 to ship now. Wonder if it's still worth it?

Don't know if this helps but I still love mine, even at $80......you might be able to catch a coupon code at some point.

I bought mine a year ago on Amazon for $80 and free shipping, last week I went to use it and the hose ripped out of the adapter that goes into the canister, I went on the powersmith website and seen the warranty is 2 years, so i emailed them off a couple pics and my Amazon invoice. They shipped me out a new hose assy, due to arrive Thursday

Overall I really like the vac, however it could use a longer hose, I always seem to be pulling on it to get more reach, probably why it broke, I just shoved / twisted it back into the adapter and it still works fine, but have another hose on the way as well:)

I see 75 dollars for it now at fleet. I don't know about shopping as I have these stores close enough to me. I'll wait until they go on sale again. Sounds like this brand works well.

Used it for the first time today, sucks like a shop vac. I didn't have any problems. There was no dust or ash in the air, it was an easy furnace cleanup. The only thing I noticed was the little swivel brush attachment I used most today, but what stinks is it MUST be used with an extension pole. Which in my case is too long to fit INSIDE the furnace door. It would be Perfect if they made the brush attach directly to the hose which then allows you to use it in tight spots.

Anyone using other attachments on this vac? Curious to know what fits.

I haven't used any attachments yet, I might try the brush at some point.
