My college has a facebook group where people sell crap they don't want anymore. The GF told me about a post about an axe (I don't really do facebook). It was a girl selling a best made co american felling axe I did some research and mostly just found a few threads on various forums joking about their outrageous prices and paint schemes. It seems like it's more of a boutique yuppie company. But they do seem to make nice axes. Hand made/forged in the USA. I was curious, and got it cheap enough that I thought it was worth a shot This model is their unfinished felling axe, meaning it came with no oil, stain, or paint. Whoever had it before me applied some oil to the handle. Head shape is nice, and the weight is great. The handle is slender and feels nice in the hand. Sheath is pretty decent too. Haven't had a chance to test it out yet, but here's some indoor pics, hopefully I'll get to play with it a little more this weekend List on the website for the unfinished model, before shipping is $162, I got this one for $50
