Anyone ever burn these before? HD had these this morning and I picked up a bag to review them. If memory serves (which it usually lets me down) I believe these typically didn't burn too great for people in the past, unless I'm thinking of another brand. Oh and rookie mistake, forgot to take a pic of the UPC....doh!
I don't remember hearing anything on these. Could be CRS though. Interested in what you think of them once you get to play. UPC when ya get a minute if possible.

I'm surprised these made it up here from Alabama.....maybe there is a shortage????? I wish I could get some Greenway's up here....saw them once a few years back and have one bag left of their oak pellet.....I'm saving it...lol
Could be an issue order issue? Box stores order in advance and once the quota is filled. They have to reorder more. Or they are moving unsold stock from sluggish area's to reduce inventor. They may want us to think there are supply issues so they can raise the price and actually make a few bucks on them? I doubt there is a shortage. AFAIK the mills are still crankin them out. But the mills may be getting the dealers/wholesale orders ready for spring shipments?
This is why I always try to keep about a season's worth of stash for the following year....you know, just in case!!! oink!
I got 2 tons left and will only use 1 of them to finish the season. I'd like to keep ahead of the curve and refill now. Geez, Guess I better go shopping! Mention shortage and the apes go gaga and raid the supplies. Better get what I can get while its still there!
Last season I had no issue getting pellets. Boxes were still carrying them in May. This season from the get go its been a dry county of sorts. Haven't had the selection/quality I've seen in seasons past. We've had a plentiful supply just no the decent stuff I've been used to seeing. Really been hit or miss finding something worthy unless I want to burn chit loads of GS-Instant Heat and now Easy Heat. Heck I can't even find MWP in the TSC bags. I though it was just what the box store managers were ordering. Maybe it is demand related? I don't hear any mills or pellet house squawking about supplies. Some brands have been in sort supply(Turman's-Country Boy). But they seem to be more of a by product of lack of building supply sales. Seeing the fiber used for these is a by product of what they sell in flooring or lumber. I didn't get to excited. Many other brands seem to be plentiful. Another chapter in how the pellet crumble's!

I burn a bag last year "just to see for myself" and like your review points out, a lotta ash and no heat. Geez, my CRS must be in remission!
