As long as the" Best if used by-" date hasn't passed, you'll be fine. I'd still smell it before feeding the stove though.

In 4 year old oak? Well.....it's got to be all the way down to near 37%.

 

Somewhere between 10 and 50. I sound like the weather man.

 

I was really expecting him to say something like, 'I thought it was 3 yrs old but it's really only 2"

let it set another year or two and you'll have 'er just about about well seasoned.....that's most of what's on my back porch right now

 

You better be careful I hear that the older and dryer it is the faster it burns you might want to supplement that stuff with some fresh cut oak so you dont burn it all up right away

 

I bet you feel silly burning that old wood and not the new stuff.
