Came home and it was COLD!!! (Outside, Duh!!).

Because it was going down into the 20°'s tonight? I decided to bring the Fahrenheit into duty!!

Poured in a bag of pellets, and a did a few other pre burn rituals. Then hit the "Prime" button to fill the auger flight. Nothing.... Hit again. Nothing. Again... NOTHING!!

Auger won't turn. :( Don' know whether to scream or cry!

After ripping the Guts off and out of this thing, and almost 2 hours later, I lower the hopper lid to rest my Beer on.... Then it dawned on me!!! The hopper lid was up the entire time!! o_OI'm an idiot!! o_OWasted 2 hours and the furnace is fine. I ended up lubing the actuators and motors, so something good came of it. But my own stupidity of not knowing it was the hopper lid!!

Anyways. Story over. The Furnace is on level 2 manual and the house is 72° and slowly climbing still. Gonna put it on one and set the t stay for the Eurostar. If it gets under 72°, it will pick up the slack :drunk:

Pics to prove it happened! :D

That's a Chandelier that took about 6 Months of Liver damage to complete! It's a Jameson Chandelier.

As for the floor, I have been painting and remodeling the basement a little. It's not finished, per say, but will look somewhat finished once I move the Bar, Pool table, Foose Ball table, etc, over from the other side of the basement. When the basement is finshed, I will start a thread from start to finsh.

Here is what is looked like a month ago. Since then, a wall was taken down and lots of paint applied

I'm sure I'd have done the same thing by now if the cold air return duct on mine allowed the hopper lid to stay open.

I was thinking the same thing but I've seen his wood (Wait, that sounds wrong!!) so I'm thinking he's keeping the cellar free of wood until his remodel is complete.....

I want the paint on the floor and rack to cure (a few days) before I fill it. I have one out on my back porch also. It's about 80% full.

I have pieces that I just slide into place on my porch and screw down. In about 10 minutes, I have 30 ft of my 40 ft back porch enclosed :)
