Some pretty serious wind. It was pretty windy here a couple weeks ago, but it's calm now. Little thunderstorm-y though

At least the leaves are off. So maybe not too much to be knocked down.

With the ground being wet, you can count on some trees coming down, looks like more trail work will be done.

We will get wind here as well. Heavy rain tonight, hitting close to 70 tomorrow with a possible nor'easter in time for wednesday. Weather guys back and forth between a lot of sleet or 8"+ of snow.

Looks like most of that wind will miss us. I see Monday they say maybe gusts to 41 mph here. Not a good day for cutting wood for sure. However, I do have some soft maples down (they are small) in an area where there are no big trees. They need to be cleaned up so if I can work, maybe I'll clean them up Monday. btw, these are trees I cut last winter to feed deer.

Well, the wind is not missing us. We've been without power 3 times now but fortunately it is doing fine now. Pretty noisy outside though with the wind howling. But it is only 35 gusting to 45 at present.

Yup. Here too. Up and down and up and down. Rain and no rain. Sun for some time. Then more clouds and rain. Up and down. Higher winds expected tonight and early morning here.

Windy here tonight too. Sounds like a freight train coming off the lake.

It is really blowing here now. I have a couple of dead Pines in my back yard that could end up on my detached garage if they fall. Dam, I wish I had taken them down.

Crazy winds here too, had the top of a maple come out beside the house. I was planning on taking that one down anyways as it's looking really dead and it's in striking range of the house.

The wind is trucking through the trees pretty good, it's picked up pretty good this afternoon.

We'll see what the wind puts down across the trail.

Be safe guys and girls. Our winds came through last night. Blew the damm tarps off of the 1 stack, the grill, and there was plenty of branches on the roads this morning.

Although most of the leaves have fallen (there are suprisingly a few oaks with leaves at their tops) the big snow wednesday could cause problems with the branches and weight. The snow is expected to be on the heavy side.

The wind started up here this afternoon big time.
Didn't need a fire today so far but I'm getting ready to load it up because its going down to 30 tonight, I hope I don't have any problem controlling it

It sure was howling here yesterday. I got lucky, the trees in my yard are pretty healthy. The lights did flicker quite a lot but didn't lose power.

At my work, we had a few dead ash's in the woods beside the property come down in the yard. That's fine, I get some easy ready to burn wood.
