His shop has an awesome huge woodstove made out of a piece of 48" pipe
from the TAPS (Trans Alaska Pipeline System)
Well left over pipe, not "from" the pipeline.:


Now I know the saw parts in the background are eating away at some here.:
+ he has a connex , FULL of saws & saw parts, & parts saws :

 

Lots of orange parts, Husky! I'm a fan. Looks like he needs to do some winter cleaning when things slow down a bit.
He can probably help a few guys out with saws and parts and get a few bucks in return and some useable space for the next load of saws.

 

Yea & that's not the 1/2 of the old saws/parts there.

He said he was working on that.
but some had FHC site issue this morning.

 

Just out of curiosity, how many staff does he have working at the processor yard?

 

How far is Nate's shop from your house?

 

I bet that stove puts out some to heat, what is that like 15 20 cubic feet?

I saw couple others ,
there is a guy who has the saw mills. (band saw) didn't meet /see him
+
& another wood processor (same brand, a tad bigger unit) you can see the conveyor
of it in the background of the 3rd pic. It was set up & had done some big splits for
the big sop stove.not operating when I was there.

I think 1 guy works with Nate, not sure of the manpower needed when in full processing mode.
His live feed table is a nice feature, the other processor don't have that.

Probably pretty busy with firewood this time of the year. Hopefully hes alright
