Woke up at 5:30 to a stove at the tail end of it's shut down sequence and a house getting cold real quick. Why? Open the hopper lid and found it nearly empty, and the little bit left was bridged. Note to self: Remember to top it off, especially when it's low 20s overnight!
Gotta make that part of your nightly "before-you-go-to bed" list, like locking the doors, shutting off lights, etc, etc.
Did the same thing a week ago. Unfortunately it was 15 degrees with a 15 mph breeze outside when the stove went out. It was 58 in the house. Took hours to get it warmed back up with the weather like that. Oopsie.
Lucky for me I have a 120# hopper, so every morning is good for me. And if I miss one I can usually make the next one. Makes it easier. However, as you would probably expect, it has run out once or twice....
