Once upon a time kids were encouraged to go to school. But then again there IS more to education than just book learning!

Levi is great help & will definitely be be appreciated, but isn't he on my splitting team?

No gas or oil cans leaking all over Dans trailer! Does this mean I can bring a couple extra saws?

There are about 6 cords on the landing currently and Scott's son has his hands full with the shop. There is a potential that some guys will go out on nov 29th to get more wood cut hauled limbed and ready for the Dec 6th gtg. If anyone is interested in helping on the 29th please let me know via pm so I have a count of hands on deck. You can also pm tbrown. Hoping to have enough wood ready by the big day to keep the splitters busy the better part of the day. This way we can have more hands on deck to get to our goal of 100 cords cut and split and make a mountain at the landing.

No drinking? But alcohol fueled wood cutting is very productive!

I went to the saw races at the Chisago Co. Fair just across the river from Grantsburg last summer...
I've never seen that kind of beer consumption at a county fair...
Not us racers, but everyone else!!
    Beers, beers everywhere!!
Gotta be a traditional MN/WI thing...

I think they took off about 3 am this morning. Lots of rain in MO and fog in Iowa.

I'll let Stihl livin fill ya in on how much wood got cut, split, and piled this weekend...

It may just be a record...
    Like a Guinness record...

    Just sayin...

Doug, did you have a chance to estimate the piles?
