Man I love duratracs, I wheel my XJ fairly often and have nothing but great things to say about those tires. They are only 31's but aired down to 12PSI they go just about anywhere. If I had to pic one tire that is great on the street, offroad, and in snow its that tire, hands down!

Someone said they don't like the MTR's and that they aren't good tires. Maybe the OLD MTR's...they were lack luster. The new asymmetrical MRT's are awesome tires, I have a set on my F-350.

Yeah I was debating between them and BFG AT's but the Duratracs looked like they'd be better offroad. I can say after having a few sets of BFG's (on Toyotas so that may play a difference) the Duratracs are better in snow AND offroad.

I like the truck in your sig Razo

My first truck was a 94 bronco. I have a soft spot for them

There's a nice bronco forum out there if you're interested in modding, etc. they're as crazy about broncos as we are about wood :D

www.fullsizebronco.com? if so, you'll see me on there! Nice Dodge by the way! I'm not going to crazy with this one. It's a great camping vehicle etc. and I can sleep in it when I go snowboarding for a long weekend but I'm in the market for a 78/79 to make my wheeler. This one is just too nice to go dent the heck out of it....

Yep, that's it. I'm on there with the same username. Don't really post anymore though since I'm bronco-less ( :(). Thanks for the compliment on the dodge. I miss the bronco but definitely like having an 8ft bed and 3/4 ton springs for wood hauling duty.

Your bronco does look clean. They're getting harder and harder to find in good condition. If I get back into the full size bronco game, 78/79 would be my choice as well. Comes stock with a solid axle, which saves you a BIG step if you want to build up a serious wheeler.

They really are perfect trucks for what you describe. Good all around off roaders, even stock. And great for camping, etc. Throw all your gear in the back, and 5 people up front, and everything stays nice and dry

A lot of the dings dents and scratches on my 81 blaze are from brush/timber/narrow passes. Besides that it could crawl, neither of us minded when the boo boos happened to it. Hubby was a BFG man for many years. But the 33" made too high for me.

I like the old full size Broncos. Every once and a while I look at some of the full size Broncos for sale on e-bay. There are a couple guys who find, buy and sell them exclusively. And sometimes they find some really nice, low mileage, mint ones. And they get some really nice, low mileage, mint cash for them as well!:faint:

Yeah, when you find a clean 78-79 for und $8k you are doing REALLY well. I thought mine was a steal at $2500.
