    Starting the marinade a little late for a get together this weekend (big turkey day parade)...

    It's been a few years since I have made this, lost my mother's old recipe so I just went with my gut. Mine is always on the spicy side which is how I like it.

    Had to look up Cacoila. Sounds a little spicy for me. Is yours made with beef or pork? The things I learn in Smokehouse.

    I have only ever done pork. I grew up in a heavily Portuguese area, and I can't remember ever having the beef version.

    It's great stuff on a nice roll, Portuguese roll, of course.
