Wait till you see the full effect secondaries show and feel the soap stone heat once you have the whole rock heated up ! It seems to last an last an……
That is the one stove that I liked the looks of the most and miss the heating characteristics of when I had one in the basement. Yours should have the new insides and be even better. Very nice choice and great looking set up.

So is that a soapstone stove? I'm not familiar with them.

I'm loaded with 3+ years seasoned oak and some sugar maple and hickory, good to go with quality this year

Yes it's soapstone like their fireview, really holds the heat a long time, it was still 100 degrees a couple hours after I let my initial burn go out

I was one of the first ones to purchase the PH. There were some small problems inside the stove that developed being the first ones mfg'd Woodstock actually went to owners homes an performed the minor change outs to correct them (that is customer service if I have ever seen it ) I am not sure of the details because at the time I thought I was selling my house so I chose to send my PH back and reinstalled the PE Summit for new owners. Things changed with my job again and I'm still here in NE OH. So I guess in my point of view all the PH's after mine were the improved ones. They are an outstanding Company with the best customer service I have seen. Pictures of the PH do not do it justice till you have seen one in person.

You can say the same thing about the IS, I was more than impressed when I saw one at the factory. Loren told me about the improvements made from the original PH's when I picked up my stove but I wasn't paying attention, my eyes were looking all over the factory.

Oh, my, that is one drop-dead gorgeous setup right there, 'guy! The browns in the fireplace and stove really set each other off. That big rock is gonna radiate the entire room. No comparison between the radiation off the Dw and the Keystone here...

Thanks Woody, that was my first choice in color and my wife wanted charcoal, as it turned out they only had 6 brown ones left and only one with a right side door so I jumped on it, my wife's is usually right but I'm glad I got the brown.

I opened her up today since Ive had two break in fires I figured it was time to let her run a little hotter, once it hit 400 the smoke alarms went off, sent the dog and cats scurrying for cover, house still smells, forgot how awful that smell is. I'm letting it cruise at a bit over 400, I want to see how the heat gets distributed.

Man, this baby throws some heat, I put about 1/2 load in and got it a bit over 500, haven't heard the furnace kick on for a while and the temps outside have been dropping. It did take awhile to get everything up to temp from a cold start but it just keeps emitting heat. The box is so much bigger than my Princess, supposedly only by a bit 2.54 vs 2.8 but it seems much bigger.

Thanks Scotty, still learning the ins and outs but definitely throws serious heat and I've only had it up to 500. I see why the Woodstock owners only get a cup of creosote a year, this thing burns super clean.
First time I ever heard these words from my wife today. "Can you turn the stove down it's too hot in here" granted it was 38 out and not 18 but it's a first.

BEAUTIFUL! My neighbor bought one last year, same color combo, he also has the rear feed. Loves it and is heating 2200Sq ft easily with it.
