After sampling a few bags of AWF White Pine pellets, and being generally pleased by the heat output and minimal ash, I sprung for a ton. While unloading and stacking them I noticed Veggie oil listed as an additive. Never noticed this on any other pellets I've burned. So, typical or not?
Yep, Die lube. Never had to show it before. But with the new PFI rules, They are supposed to show all additives on the PFI label.
Hmmmm,,,, less than 1%,,,,,, that's a a chit load at the end of the year on a 50,000 TPY pellet plant !!!! Wonder if its WVO or new oil? Maybe chicken wing scented pellets are in the works !?
Interesting, I'll have to keep an eye out for it on other brands as well. Food scented oil on the pellets.... now that's almost evil. Torment the neighbors with the smell of French Fries 24 x 7
