    YES!! Yes I did!
But then, all of a sudden out of nowhere I herd a loud annoying buzzing sound. Not know what was going on, I quickly decided to roll over and hit the snooze button! That's when I realized it was all just a dream!! :D

Just saw it the other day and snapped a pic. Man that would be nice wouldn't it??? Maybe my next life!

You using a load handler for firewood? Just noticed the Powerhorse dual splitter in your sig, you like it?

LH is awesome if you have a bedliner - crank stack and repeat, only lose 4-5 pieces in front of the wheel wells - easily slid back when done.
Dual splitter hasn't let me, or my buddy that went halves, down. Split that load in ~40mins rolling them up the custom ramp.

Sometimes I wish for vertical but the ramp even with some big 20"+ rounds suffices

That is quite the load in there, looks like perfectly cut rounds. You cutting with a table saw or something? youza!

I'm going to try real hard and avoid the easy and non-family-friendly joke here...

it's mounted on basod 's tailgate, it is basically a strong tarp that goes on the bed, and then hand cranked from tailgate such that it slides the load on top of it from the cab towards the tailgate... greatly simplifying the unloading process.

Never thought it could be strong enough for firewood, but guys use it for mulch and loam so I guess why not.

That was a whole tree! several years ago there was what was left of a hurricane that gave us some pretty good winds and took out this hemlock. Anyway I only had to haul it down to my burn pile and wanted to see if I could do it on one trip! I think I just burned it today. That pile was 'bout as big as a school bus! DSCN3859.JPG

I said I didn't need any more wood, but when a buddy called and said someone in his neighborhood dropped a 20" oak for a new home I couldn't pass it up since most of my wood is ash and silver maple. Took home a load with my truck bed loaded to the hilt the night I cut it, and just went back Sunday to get the rest. I need to get a tandem axle trailer, that's about all the weight this one wanted.

Three loads this fall like this. This one hedge the other two were hickory. Now I need the time and the weather to stay cold so I can split and stack.
