Free Dry Wood

    Went into the woods for the first time next to home and found some dead trees came home and split it and threw it right into the stove ignited immediately not sure what it is but think it was ash

    Mohegan lake, thats a split's throw from my house. You probably hear me running my saw on early morns. Better than getting free wood is getting free wood thats ready to go. Enjoy, its going to get colder tonight again in these here parts.

    I got about a quarter of a cord have to go back tomorrow to get the rest..should have a few cords once im done. I been burning since october had to keep the kids warm at night..

    I sure did. It was the jackpot. Tons of dead ash thats been standing for quite some time. A few splits had termites so threw those right in the stove later suckers

    Thanks. I sure will especially since I have the weekends free so I should be getting alot of ash maple and oak all over the property.

    It sure is Dave. I no longer have to drive around with my saw any more. So easy to cut and split. It was easy to split that I used my fiskars hatchet..only if everything was that easy to split.
