Owners should have tackled him, left the saw in place and started it up. :saw:

What a moron , probably would be better just to grab it and run .
A local dealer here said that's why all their saws have cables on them ,cuz they had a guy grab a saw and he got away

Years ago There was a local business that had a grab and run and owner had a remote lock on the door. Gave him time to have the cops come as he held him. It is now ILLEGAL here in Ohio to have locking doors to keep criminals in. I wonder if they still do the car theft stings where the doors are remotely locked till they surround them. That made for some pretty good videos but I'm sure the thieves claimed to be a set up victims. We've become so screwed up anymore.

Our local saw shop has the same issue lately. They had a guy bring a beat up old Poulan in and try to swap with a new husky 55.. He didn't even go for a high end saw. They caught him while he was leaving because the husky didn't fit the poulan case.

Not in my pants but it fits here - mid -late 1950's chrome plated tie clasp. Been years since anyone's seen me wear a necktie, but I have been known to wear a Western bolo with my Resistol hat on occasion....:rootintootin::smoke:
