Thats why id like to relegate this to big box fuel.. I understand LW 's logic. I have no problem throwing down for top shelf 'Cretes or 'monties ( my pet name for vermonts) - and their is no ? "Box store HOTS" are a polar vortex next to the high octanes.
I answered that quickly, boss man was around. To be more clear, I have found that almost all the pellets I tested were about the same heat when you looked at the actual pounds per hour feed rate. Harmans, and like mine on a thermostat compensate for the different feed rates and most brands are virtually the same in this regard I have found.
